Poppyfields Paper Swallow- Dark Brown filly, 2002. Connemara/Trakehner. Also by Seven Hills Grey Ghost. Swallow is very elegant and tall. She floats across the ground with great suspension, and length of stride. She is lovely beyond words. Her Trakehner mother is a full sister to the Pan-Am 100 mile endurance horse Faust; Having trouble putting a price on her!

Poppyfield Farm is a small family farm that raises Connemara and Connemara halfbreds. We strive to breed equines for riders who do not wish to sacrafice movement or talent to get a willing partner with a great temperament. Our ponies are homeraised, and well handled. They should meet the needs of the sporthorse rider as well as be an excellent example of the breed.
